Tom Hussey is an American photographer who specializes in commercial advertising and lifestyle photography. Hussey on his pictures captures the discrepancy between how old we look and how young we feel. The series was based on conversation with an 80-year-old World War II veteran. He couldn’t believe how quickly time had passed. Hussey said “He commented that he didn’t understand how he could be 80 years old as he felt he was still a young man. He just didn’t feel it was possible he could be 80 years old.”

After this series we can clearly see separation between body and mind. I would push this thought further I think we forgot that those people had life before they got old and they sill want to be needed.

And what do you think about this series?
