London-based designer Mira Mikati has provided on Instagram a small sneak peek of her upcoming collaboration with street artist KAWS. Since KAWS’ clothing label OriginalFake closed down, this is his first collaboration. The Capsule Collection is features all-over prints of KAWS’ artwork on a number of silk baseball jackets. I really tried not to describe this collection as cute...but it really is. Take a look for example at graz tailored coat with monsters and emoticons or The "monster" cartoon heads embroidered on knit turtlenecks. Unstructured cady skirts or hand-printed on a rain parka are irresistible in their eccentricity. I'm sure that some day the designer will arrive at the moment when she must decide whether to keep these graphics a running theme or reinvent each season or not. But until then I will enjoy every item of here collection......
