Jason Wu spring/summer 2015

After dressing Michelle Obama he became America’s fashion darling - but rather than being a one-hit wonder on that front, he’s stayed strong and steady. In my opinion refined and sophisticated is an apt description. Collection began in a sober palette of earthy neutrals on trademark wearable separates and smart shirtdresses. When you look at his clothes you will never be scared of by them. Wu's line I can easily called reliable in his work he combines the concept of beauty and the exploration of American sportswear which accounted for...

That's why last year they hired Jason Wu as artistic director of Boss women’s. His job is to raise the company profile and establish a strong aesthetic. This is second Wu's collection for Boss and this time designer showed spare and minimal in cut and finish, the tailoring, of course not without subtle femininity. Wu worked in cashmere and silk in...

Ralph Lauren RTW Fall 2014 – elegant

This year Ralph Lauren collection is all about diversity. That's why i decided to show his work in two pieces. First elegant, subtle part, where designer worked with lush, unfettered fabrics. He used cashmere knits, suede in a muted, highly focused palette of whites, grays, pinks and lilac. Lauren created her languid shape with fluid lines. My favorite look from this part is "retro diva" in various shades of white (first pictures below), which brings me to time of outstanding women like Greta Garbo, Rita Hayworth or Katharine Hepburn.        ...

VALENTINO spring / summer 2014

It is romantic, exotic and ethnic. New spring summer Valentino collection created by Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli is truly breathtaking. That was one of this incredible fashion moments. ok to be honest 73 moments and  each more beautiful than the next. Designers said that the place that triggered their imagination was the Rome Opera. That kind of a great opulance become a base to create those elegant lines. Now you can enjoy suede pieces, the fringed poncho, cape, or the slip-on coat with tasselled seams. For me the...

Nina Ricci RTW Spring 2014

Show known mostly because of  two topless Femen protestors which briefly invaded the catwalk and ran toward the photographers. Slogans like “Fashion dictater” and “Models don’t go to brothel” were painted over their torsos. And besides that, what else?. hmmm...  Peter Copping hopeless romantic, created a collection 18th-century clothing. You can find here a wispy chiffon tuxedo, crisp poplin shirtdresses and nifty pencil skirts cut like shirttails and  undershirt in cashmere and silk.   more at : http://www.vogue.de/ http://www.vogue.com http://www.wwd.com http://www.thefashionobsession.com/...
