Moschino RTW Spring 2016

Entertainment or fashion show? Actually both but only thanks to Jeremy Scott. The Moschino designer has created traffic jams, detours, reserved parking, roadwork on the runway and general obstacles in every direction. Scott made the veritable construction zone of the runway into a literal set, strewing it with an orange-and-white mess of traffic cones, barriers and signs warning of “Dangerous Couture Ahead.” And the clothes? Well just take a look at our selection!!!   via wwd.com...

Not so spring Burberry Prorsum RTW Spring 2016

Maybe it doesn't look like that, but it is for sure spring collection. I checked and I believe that Christopher Bailey’s vision for the brand is relentlessly forward-thinking. Twenty-four hours before the Burberry Prorsum show, a sneak peek of the collection was staged on Snapchat. Another unexpected thing this was a mini concert by Alison Moyet. She was performing with a 32-piece orchestra and her ethereal vocals set the darkly romantic tone of the show. Just imagine the music, atmosphere and the collection where the first model was dressed in...

Michael Kors RTW Spring 2016

It hasn't been an easy year for Michael Kors. His competition is amped up, discounting is deep and his stock was down. Spring by Kors doesn't mean kid gloves, boning and tight, flower printed dresses. The lovable designer had more "earthy elegance" on his mind for his feminine spring collection. That means you can expect fluttery petaled flowers on dresses and offered sheer kicky pleats on dresses in classic red, blue, black and white. Wide black leather belts and grommets along skirts and hems provided strength.   via wwd.com...

Oscar de la Renta RTW Spring 2016

Another day of New York Fashion Week is bringing new surprising collections. Definitely this is not one of them but  i chose it because of Peter Copping. New designer at one of the famous fashion houses in the world, since last fall made his own necessary adjustments and the results were splendid. With sensitivity and reverence to his forebear, Copping created a great spring collection where we can find red carnation, de la Renta’s favorite flower and a significant bloom in Spanish and Latin culture. Flamenco ruffles, combinations of red...

Rachel Zoe RTW Spring 2016

New Rachel Zoe collection is successfully capturing the spirit and romance of the late Seventies and early Eighties with gypsy-inspired look. New spring looks are full of delicate lace, which artfully embellished the peasant blouses and dresses. Another trend really popular also in this fall season is playful fringe to suede jackets and a delicate knit dress. Some of the key looks are intricately embroidered dresses and great off-the-shoulder silhouettes. via wwd.com...

Prada spring/summer 2015

There is no doubt that Miuccia Prada is one of the most creative designer in the fashion world. She is also an art lover and there she finds her inspiration. Most common picture from the Prada show is herself backed up against a wall with ten journalists desperate to decipher what she means by her collection? Well no one asked Miuccia about the fact that they watched the show in front of over 100 tons of sand dunes that had been dyed mauve and poured from wall-to-wall on the carpet at Prada HQ....

Michael Kors spring/summer 2015

Another fresh proposition from NYFW. This time one and only Michael Kors. Probably already love him because of his great accessories collection but this time I want to show you his new spring collection. Michael created a look inspired by 1950s summer. During the interview he admit that for him this was unbelievably optimistic time. This collection is full of joyous ballet-length skirts and flippy short dresses, waists are gently nipped in with crocodile corsage belts. Designer also shows how to wear transparency in real life - just mixed them with...

J.Crew spring/summer 2015

I must say that I'm huge fan of this brand. J. Crew womenswear designer Tom Mora admit that this collection was inspired by a recent trip to Ibiza. As a result we can see very relaxed look. Unlike previous more figure hugging collection this one is full of very loose fitting items. The dresses and the embellished shorts hit just above the knee. It's all about ease and comfort.  “We started out with fabrics in the collection that were really inspired by indigenous people. That’s where you see these beautiful stripes,...
