I think every woman’s dream is to be like Carrie from Sex and the City. I’m talking about wardrobe…and those shoes! Well I spent hours watching this great show and dreaming that some day I will be able to buy one of those amaznin high heels. And now…hmm nothing actually changed, I still need to wait a little bit longer for Manolo Blahnik shoes, but Sarah Jessica Parker is bringing that dream just a little bit closer.
And may I just say wow! I spent yesterday evening for oohing and ahhing over her debut pieces from the collection called SJP. The really colourful collection is reflective of Parker’s feminine style. Asked for inspiration actress said: “I’ve taken inspiration from things in my life such as the grosgrain ribbons I tied in my hair as a girl, to the flower accents from the Sex and the City wardrobe, to references to classic styles from the late Seventies and early Eighties,” said Parker. “I’m a firm believer in quality and timelessness and have created this collection with the hopes that women will love wearing it for years to come.”
To create this line Jessica collaborated with George Malkemus, the longtime CEO at Manolo Blahnik – “the label that, as Carrie Bradshaw, she helped put firmly on the fashion map”.
SJP collection will be available exclusively at American department store Nordstrom on February 28 with prices starting at $195.
