Alison Jackson is an English photographer known for her lookalike photographs of celebrities. She became popular in 1999 after producing black-and-white photographs including images that apparently showed Princess Diana and Dodi Al-Fayed with a mixed-race love child. Those photographs were part of her “Mental Images”. After graduation Alison decided to produce more of obscured photographs and films of celebrity look-alikes. She is also responsible for BBC Two’s series Doubletake, for which she won a BAFTA .In Alison Jackson 2012 she presented her work at the exhibition “Art Below Regents Park” in Regents Park. This event coincide with Frieze Art Fair, one of the most important international contemporary art fairs that takes place each October in London.
